005010 Update Process
The 005010 update process is upon us. For step by step instructions on how to proceed, please read this guide in its entirety. If at any point you are confused, click on the step you are having problems with and it will show you a picture detailing exactly what to do or click on!
Phase 1:
Prior to any other updates or testing you have to get a commerce desk login. You may have this from when you did the 4010 transition years ago but chances are you forgot it. If you need a login for the commerce desk or forgot what your login is, you MUST email HIPAAEDITEST@dhmh.state.md.us and have them send you a new one. Include in the email your company name, contact information and submitter ID. Once you have a login for the commerce desk, we're ready to begin.
Time to complete is 15-20 minutes
Step 1: Go to https://sites.edifecs.com/sites/default/start.jsp?SiteKey=mddhmh and enter the username and password provided by the HIPAAEDITEST team.
