1996

Early public-sector health technology work

Metro Data was awarded a Maryland Health Resources Planning Commission contract supporting the state’s SubAcute care program, beginning a long record of health-sector systems work.

2000

State health systems engagements expanded

New work with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Maryland Health Care Commission broadened Metro Data’s role in developing, hosting, and supporting critical survey systems.

2010

Recognized as a veteran-owned business

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs formally recognized Metro Data as a Veteran Owned Business.

2013

Digital capabilities and enterprise reach grew

.Studio became part of Metro Data, while the company also took on support for a global intranet serving McCormick & Company.

2015

Support for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Metro Data announced an engagement supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, alongside continued Maryland health-technology contract work.

2018

National MSP recognition and incident-response leadership

CRN placed Metro Data on the Pioneer 250 of its MSP 500 list, and the company’s Data Incident Response Team was featured by the Baltimore Business Journal.

2019

Twenty-five years in business

Metro Data marked a quarter century of serving business clients through major shifts in networking, security, cloud computing, and workplace technology.
